We are in the age of Electricity. So, we train our students in frontier areas of electrical engineering such as power quality studies, distributed generation, inverter design, control strategies for complex systems. Our main focus is on renewable energy, and in this direction our students have created many projects on solar system such as solar lights, solar e-vehicle, solar tracking system etc. Today, the role of a department is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society. In this direction, the department provides an excellent environment for its students and faculties to work with zeal and enthusiasm with an aim to give their best. We have specialized faculties in all important areas of electrical engineering such as power system.
We at EE Department are committed with the following objectives:
- The Department has taken up the task of developing competent Electrical engineers of higher capability who can face various challenges of the power situation in the country
- To produce graduates who are able to apply the technical skills which they have learnt in the department in order to serve the State and National Industries and PSU’s.
- To produce graduates with the necessary background and scientific skills to work professionally in several fields.
On the whole, we are committed towards creating and improvising professional graduate community which is vivacious and provides continuous learning.
